Why a Lighthouse?

I recall seeing lighthouses and how interesting they are. They have an aura of importance without any explanation. Some people don’t know there is a lighthouse on the Cape Canaveral seashore, north of the inlet. I’ve also seen lighthouses as far south as Miami and the Florida Keys. They are often found where there is unseen danger.

A lighthouse is a tower, located at a dangerous or important place, and its significance is immediately recognized. It’s message might be ‘danger’, ‘beware’, or ‘come this way’ it serves to tell the traveler ‘this is where you are’.
